Our Mission: The Laurel Swim Association embraces swimmers of all ages and ability levels while striving to promote the sport of swimming. LSA is committed to providing each swimmer with a positive learning environment, a wealth of resources, and numerous opportunities to foster and develop their swimming skill set both in and out of the water in order to achieve one's personal best.
Coach Warren Holladay has been involved with USA Swimming for over 50 years. He began as an age-group swimmer in south Mississippi, where he swam for 10 years. At the conclusion of his time as competitive swimmer, he began coaching and has continued doing so for over 40 years. Warren has been the head coach for the Laurel Swim Association (LSA) since 2000. He is a member of the American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA), where he is a Level 3 certified swim coach. In addition to his coaching duties, he is the aquatics director for the Laurel Natatorium, where he manages the facility, supervises all programs, and teaches swim lessons to both children and adults. Coach Holladay is an instructor for the Red Cross where he instructs and certifies students in CPR, First Aid, Life Guarding, and Safety Training for Swim Coaches. He has coached for several teams in both Mississippi and Alabama.
